Reflecting on completing my first semester as Yale University's Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) Diversity and Inclusion Collective (YBDIC) program director, I'm deeply #grateful for my team and our collective achievements. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I am expressing my gratitude for attending the Society for Neuroscience Conference 2022. I had an absolutely amazing time catching up with my Marine Biological LaboratorySPINES cohort, #networking, and feeling a part of the #neuroscience community. I had the amazing opportunity to present my #research during the #diversity session, sing about #sleep during Dr.Gina R. Poe's talk, and learn about current #innovations in the field. It was an honor to gather in person at my first #SfN22 and I hope to attend many more.
